Smiles

Making all of these pinwheels in all of these cool colors certainly brought a smile to my face!  Today I used Lucky Limeade, Peach Parfait, and Rich Razzleberry to make my pinwheels.  I found that if you make a mistake, such as stamping the stick crooked, you can strategically place the pinwheel at a certain angle so no one will notice!  You can also cover a "boo-boo" by placing a piece of ribbon on your card.  These tricks come in handy when you run out of sides of the cardstock to stamp on...LOL!  I inked the word I wanted to use on the stamp from the Petite Pairs stamp set using my Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Write Marker and then used the same marker to outline the small oval after I punched it out.  I think the extra touch of color makes the sentiment "PoP"!

Stamps:  Sweets for the Sweet, Petite Pairs
Ink:  Lucky Limeade, Peach Parfait, Rich Razzleberry
Cardstock:  Whisper White, Crumb Cake
Accessories:  Lucky Limeade 3/8" Ruffled Ribbon, Small Oval Punch, Basic Rhinestone, Glue Dots, Stampin' Dimensionals

This is so cute! My ladies always tease me about all the ribbon that I use. Well there's a reason for all that ribbon and you have stumbled upon it! Love accessories! They hit a mulitude of mistakes!

Cute card and thank you for the tricks :) I like to say that "mistakes" are simply "opportunities for embellishment"!
