An Awesome Trip!

I've just returned from the annual Stampin' Up! convention in Salt Lake City, UT & I had a GREAT time! Stampin' Up! is celebrating their 20th year in business this year... isn't that amazing?!
While I was out there, I even got to visit Stampin' Up!'s home office in Riverton, UT. It was very cool!
In case you haven't heard, Stampin' Up! just released their newest catalog & idea book today and they're having a SALE already! They are offering 15% off of several brand NEW stamp sets! There are several more new product lines which will be featured this fall: Sizzix dies that match/coordinate with some of Stampin' Up!'s exclusive stamp sets; new vinyl decorator pieces from their Decor Elements line that match some of Stampin' Up!'s most popular stamp designs (new colors to be added soon!); 24/7 online ordering options that will be available this Fall.
I learned new techniques, got to play with new punches, and received 4 NEW stamp sets, one of which was a gift to all demonstrators from UPS. Needless to say, all of us were very excited when this surprise was revealed!

Anniversary Card

This is the anniversary card I made for my parents. They've been married 49 years! I used the Stampin' Up set Always. I just love that heart, especially in pomegranate! I like the bird, too, but couldn't figure out how to squeeze him on the card this time. ;)

Happy Monday!

Here's the 4th of July card I made for my parents. No stamping, just paper cutting & punching. It was really pretty easy to make!

Another Creation!

Here's a card I made for my cousin after her mother passed away. I used the "Always" set from Stampin' Up. The colors are Purely Pomegranate, Soft Sky, River Rock, and Blue Bayou... all 2007 In Colors. This is the front of the card:

Here's the next layer as you open the card. Sorry about the poor quality.

And the innermost layer:

I'm off to start working on my swaps for convention. I signed up for 6 organized swaps and haven't even started working on them yet. Yikes!

Welcome

Welcome to my shiny new blog! I thought I'd try my hand at entering the "Blogging Craze" that is so popular right now. I plan on sharing my stamping and papercrafting projects here, so check back often to see what's new! Here's a sample that I created earlier:

This is a birthday card I designed for a co-worker. All supplies are Stampin' Up. This stamp is from a hostess set that will be retiring with the current catalog in August. Isn't he cute?
